There is a funny thing about true believers in climate change and the followers of Harold Camping. Coming from opposite sides of the philosophic spectrum they both believe that the end is near and it doesn't matter what anyone else says about it.
The fact that May 21 came and went without incidence is irrelevant, just move the date back. The same is true with global warming zealots. Coldest winter on record, global warming. Hottest winter on record, global warming. Paucity of hurricanes, global warming. Plethora of hurricanes, global warming. Drought, global warming. Wet, global warming.
In the end it is all about faith. At least mine allows for something better than we have now....
