I have a question for the faithful readers of Pundit Press: what do you think of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as the Republican Party's nominee for Vice-President in next year's Presidential election?
The thought has been kicking around my head for a couple of days, but I wasn't sure whether folks would react positively to the thought, even though Secretary Rice is loved and well respected within the Conservative movement.
She would bring valuable foreign policy/national defense experience to a ticket and campaign likely to be dominated by domestic affairs, while giving the voters a reason to care about the Vice-Presidency after four years of basic irrelevance.
I'm all for the idea.
What say you?
That's actually a pretty good idea
ReplyDeleteI'd like her more if she were pro-life.
ReplyDeleteI'd like her more if she were pro-life as well, but the 2012 GOP Vice-Presidential candidate has two important jobs - bringing some real meaning back to the office and appealing to the center - and Condi fits both bills.
ReplyDeleteWhy did you write the same thing twice?
ReplyDeleteYES! YES! YES! Mike Huckabee-Condi Rice for 2012- one with extensive executive experience and the other with extensive foreign-policy experience! In my humble opinion, that would be a formidable ticket, imagine the lefties trying to paint conservatives as racists with Condi on their ticket...
ReplyDeleteI believe America needs a Romney/Rice White House along with a Republican-controlled Congress so we can take back America and clean the mess caused by the Dems since they took control of Congress on Jan. 3, 2007, then when the rubberstamp president got in.
ReplyDeleteRomney on the economy and Rice on national security - a win-win - great compliment to each other.
We need to make this happen.
