War on Libya: French Jets Strike Libyan Airport.

While enforcing the no-fly zone, French fighter jets spotted several Libyan aircraft preparing to attack Rebel forces in Misurata:

French fighter aircraft have destroyed five Libyan air force planes and two helicopters in an attack on the forces of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

A French spokesman said the aircraft were caught on the ground at Misrata air base preparing to launch attacks in the area of the rebel-held town.

Qaddafi's air force is basically nonexistent anymore, and that is one of the primary reasons why Rebel forces are moving west.
