Trump to Attend GOP Dinner in Iowa

Iowa holds the first primary event next year. The Iowa caucuses may set the tone for the 2012 Republican nomination, as they did when Barack Obama won in 2008.

Real estate magnate Donald Trump is planning a trip to the rural state soon. This may be a sign that the mogul is planning a run for President. Or it might just be a coincidence.

"Mr. Trump’s speech at CPAC earlier this year caught the attention of many political observers and as the ‘First in the Nation’ caucus state, we extended an invite to allow Mr. Trump to introduce himself to Iowa Republicans," state GOP chairman Matt Strawn said in a statement.
Trump's June 10 appearance at the premier fundraiser for Iowa's state party is sure to heighten chatter about the real estate mogul's latest presidential tease. Trump repeatedly has said he will announce his plans in June, and he's already scheduled to speak at the Politics and Eggs breakfast series that month in New Hampshire.

Getting pretty interesting.
