After losing seasons in four of the last six seasons this doesn't come as a surprise. Georgia Tech AD Dan Radakovich says a national search for a replacement will begin immediately. Coach Hewitt came to Tech 11 years ago from Sienna College to replace Bobby Cremins a Yellow Jacket legend.
Growing up in south Georgia I have followed the Yellow Jackets for as long as I can remember. This move is bittersweet. I was/am a big fan of Paul Hewitt and am sad to see him go, but it was the right time.
