Hordes of Liberals Revolt Against Obama's Libya Stance

For over one month, President Barack Obama offered little to no leadership when it came to the rebellions in Libya.  Now, though possibly too late and possibly too little, the President has declared that the United States and some of her allies will be imposing a "no-fly zone" over Libya.

Before this decision, liberals were glad to support the President's decision to watch and do nothing:
And:

But now that the President has declared that a dictator should not use his air force to bomb civilians, many liberals cannot stand it.  Now, instead of being a wise leader, he is equal or worse that President Bush in their eyes.

For example, this comment before it was scrubbed by moderators at Democratic Underground:

I'm surprised...some of them can think on their own, even if it is wrong.

Speaking of which, look here in the future, as we have an upcoming article about liberals who support what President Obama is doing... after saying that they are glad he did nothing.

  1. you can count me in as one of those people that voted for Obama, that is outraged over this.. why is it that we seem to want to police the Muslim World? why??? these people are fn nuts! if this happened 500 miles south of Libya where theres no oil, do you think we'd be involved in this mess? this is why they hate us. because we cant keep our noses out of their biz. And the rebels? how money of these libyan rebels were also fighting in Iraq against US troops? the bottom line, is, i'm tired of our country getting involved with these crazy muslims. they dont like us, and the people we help are not going to be grateful. they never are in the long term. let' start treating arabs the way we treat the rest of the world. If you want to kill yourselves, knock yourself out.

  2. Obama apparently did not want to look as though he didn't care if innocent people were being slaughtered. The problem is -- nobody knows whether they are "innocent." I scoffed at Qadaffi's insistence that these so-called freedom fighter were from Al Quaeda until I heard a senior military officer say the same thing.

Basically, wars in this part of the world always boil down to the same thing: Please, USA, come over here and do our dirty work. Spend your money, shed your blood, waste your time, ruin your reputation. And then we'll cry "imperialist anti-Arabs!" and hate you. Look at Kuwait for a perfect example.
