Alvin Greene Loses in SC House Bid.

Alvin Greene, who lost to Senator Jim DeMint in South Carolina's Senate race last November, has been defeated in the 64th State House District Democratic Primary. Four Democrats and two Republicans battled in yesterday's Primary race to replace Cathy Harvin - a Democrat lawmaker who died in December.

The Democrats, to their profound credit, did not make the same mistake again in nominating Alvin Greene for any office above dogcatcher. He received only 37 votes overall, or only 0.9% of all votes cast, or only 2,378 votes fewer than the Democrat Primary winner - Mayor Kevin Johnson. Greene finished last.

This means two things:

One. Alvin Greene will not be a sitting House member in South Carolina.
Two. Alvin Greene will not be in the news for hopefully a long, long time.

What do you think?

  1. If Alvin sucks so bad, how did his ideological brethren and mental equal win the White House?
