Ted Williams, a Homeless Man, Gets Job Offer From Cleveland Cavaliers (With Video)

This is certainly a heart warming story.  Ted Williams, a homeless man, has the greatest voice for radio I have ever heard.  EVER.  And he was caught on video asking people for money:

Holy crap, listen to that voice!  Anyway, this story ends happily, as Mr. Williams has been offered a job by the Cleveland Cavaliers, an NBA team for those that don't know.  Cleveland may have lost LeBron James, but they gained Mr. Williams!

  2. Hope this guy's able to get steady work as an announcer or voiceover guy. He's got the voice for it and has squandered his talents for long enough......maybe he can keep busy with a Clear Channel or Compass Media-type outfit where they broadcast multiple formats such as sports, talk, country, contemporary, news, rap, alternative, oldies, etc.

I'm sure the various intros and bumps such a wide array of programming would require near-constant updating and keep Mr. Williams productive.
