Ousted Pelosi Closes "SpeakerPelosi" Account on Twitter

After failing in almost every way conceivable as Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi has finally taken real action: she has closed her old Twitter account.  This could possibly be the only timely and effective action that Pelosi has taken in her over two decades of office.

Though Pelosi did shut down her old account, she has now started another.  However, this time it is simply "NancyPelosi," as opposed to the old "SpeakerPelosi."  At times like this, one might expect Pelosi to be humbled that she has to change her account because the American people have rejected her party.  Nope.

In fact, Pelosi makes the whole thing out to be humorous, pointing out the fact that her new account is better.  Why?  Because, you better hold yourself because this is just so incredibly amazing, it is two characters shorter.  Shorter!  Okay, I don't think it's a big deal, but Pelosi does:
Rejoice!

And don't think that Nancy isn't serious about closing her old account.  If you even try to go to the old one, you get this message:
Unfortunately for mankind, however, you can still read all of Pelosi's ramblings (new and old) on her new account.  For example:
I didn't know they had the internet in padded rooms.
