Santo played 14 seasons with the Chicago Cubs in the 1960's-70's. He hit 342 home runs, drove in 1,331 runners, and successfully placed a hit 2,254 times. Santo also reached base more times than any other National League player in 1964, 1966, and 1967. The closest he ever came to reaching the Hall-of-Fame from the BBWAA was back in 1998 when he received 43.1% of their vote.
