A Look at Obama's Approval Ratings

This is your roundup of the major polling of the President's approval ratings. In this edition we can see that Obama's numbers are largely stagnant but rising slightly. The effects of the unemployment rate rising have not been fully factored in.

So let's take a look at some of the top pollsters:

Gallup:
Approve: 47%
Disapprove: 45%

Rasmussen:

Approve: 47%
Disapprove: 53%

It appears that overall, Obama's approval ratings are becoming a bit more positive with his disapproval dropping four tenths of a percent. We also see him gaining in Gallup. A CBS News poll has him at 48-42 which appears to be out of sync with the other polls, throwing off the average slightly.

Approve: 46.2%
Disapprove: 48.4%

Keep a sharp eye out for this week's polling. The tax rate deal could have an impact either way.
