Utah 3rd District Polls

Deseret News and Mason-Dixon each released poll results from all three of Utah's congressional districts today, and all three polls show the incumbent lawmaker leading in their re-election bids for another term in Washington. I have not seen this trend in too many other states.

Utah's 3rd congressional district

Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz just finished his first term in the House, during which he voted against increasing the number of Troops in Afghanistan, and for limiting the use of full-body scanners at airports. The Congressman is not a friend of any establishment, and is beholden to none.

Deseret News Surey:
Rep. Chaffetz (R) - 70%.
Karen Hyer (D) - 19%.

Mason-Dixon Survey:
Rep. Chaffetz (R) - 56%.
Karen Hyer (D) - 11%.
