Rand Paul has taken a big lead in the Kentucky Senate race after several events swung momentum in his favor. He leads Democrat Jack Conway, whose campaign is making more and more missteps. Of course, this race is to replace Senator Jim Bunning, who is retiring this year.
Paul is the son of Texas Congressman Ron Paul and is running with heavy support from the Tea Party. Paul is expected to win on Tuesday, especially if you believe the latest poll from Rasmussen. Rasmussen is the most accurate of the national pollsters.
Paul (R): 53%
Conway (D): 41%
Other/und: 6%
Conway's chances have deteriorated since Conway put up the infamous "Aqua Buddha" ad accusing Paul of not being a Christian but instead worshiping the "Aqua Buddha," whatever that is. Still, it's another seat that the GOP can expected to hold on Tuesday.
