Whew! Americans can breath a sigh of relief. At least in Nevada, reason has triumphed over fear and radicalism. Unfortunately, I can't report the same in my home state of Kentucky where the radical carpet-bagging teabagger Rand Paul conned the electorate into voting against their interests. Paul favors slashing government spending in a plethora of assistance programs benefitting the poor and working middle class in a state that receives far more back in federal monies than it pays in. I only hope Kentucky can survive the six years of Paul's term.
