Reid: Republicans Should Vote for Me

Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is in the fight of his life against Republican candidate Sharron Angle.  Largely disliked by many, if not most, of his own constituents, Reid is now pleading with the very political party that dislikes him most: Republicans.

It could be a Hail Mary in the last week leading up to election day.  It could be a deafening cry for help.  It could be a way for Reid to say that he somehow was elected with bipartisan support.  Either way, he put it up on his Facebook page, and then linked to an article that lathered praise upon him:

If you look closely, you should notice a few things.  First, I would consider Reid desperate to even have to try to appeal to Republicans.  Second, the person who wrote the article claims that he is "pro-business" and "conservative," yet he supports Reid all the way.  Obviously that is not true.  Third, the article is posted at the Las Vegas Sun, a liberal site that has ads all over its site in support of Reid.

For example, if you go to the Las Vegas Sun, you will see this at the top:
And on the sides you will see this:
Obviously, this is not exactly an unbiased source.

This isn't the only ludicrous thing that Reid has put on his Facebook page, however.  Earlier this month he tried to claim that he never said the war in Iraq was lost and put it up on Facebook and his own campaign site.  He also insulted Angle supporters on both sites as well.

In the end, it seems apparent that Reid is trying to dig up all the help he can get in his struggle against Sharron Angle.  He's got a biased newspaper to do his bidding and he's got electronic ballot machines to automatically fill in his name if people choose to vote in English.  I wonder what else he will try.
