Rally to Restore Sanity Attendance

NOTE: If anyone wants to share their "Sanity/Fear" rally update, please leave a comment at the bottom of this article, or email me at aaaabraves@yahoo.com

Jon Stewart's and Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear will take place today between noontime and three o'clock on the National Mall in Washington. The satirical rally is being held as the counter-measure to Glenn Beck's very successful 8/28 Restoring Honor event. About 60,000 or so folks are expected to be in attendance.

Democratic organizations are hoping this will launch young voters back into the political fray on Tuesday, but after Barack Obama's awful appearance with Jon Stewart on Wednesday, and the fact that most of these Stewart/Colbert fans are already from liberal precincts. Then considering the Independent Conservative voter will decide who receives control on Election Day, Democrats will be heart broken by the pathetic results of today's rally.

The event will be broadcast live on C-SPAN and Comedy Central. I'm predicting 80,000 folks come out and attend the event. What say you?

  1. First of all, this was horribly written. Obviously a conservative author, and one that does not use complete sentences nor proper grammar.
So, they are expecting around 80,000 people?
I just saw the video stream from it, and it looks like a lot more people than that.

I hope it encourages people to look more closely at the rhetoric being used throughout the political arena, and that it brings it down a notch.

Oh...you mean like the current President of the United States urging hispanic-Americans to 'punish their enemies'......not Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Chavez or the Mexican cartels, but their fellow Americans.

Second of all, that was horribly written. Obviously by a liberal progressive author who is either stupid enough to beleive in Stewart/Colbert's non-partisan figleaf or hopes that we're stupid enough to believe in it.

We have the Dems to thank for economy-killing turds like Cap & Trade, 0bamacare, the stimulus and if they get their way, Card Check....not to mention voter intimidation, those suspecct voting machines in North Carolina and Nevada and disenfranchising the military by not getting their mail-in ballots sent off in time.

Even for the true believer progressive, there's nothing to defend, so this whinging about 'the tone' and 'civil discourse' is the best they can do to deflect from the fact that 0bama 'pulled the car out of the ditch' just long enough to put it into one of those compactors that crushes cars into cubes....
