Becker vs. McCarthy Polls

A tight election between Incumbent Democrat Carolyn McCarthy and Republican Fran Becker has come down to the wire this election.  According to the polls, McCarthy has held a solid lead over Becker right up until now.  According to Real Clear Politics, McCarthy is leading Becker by some points in the polls.  For results and more information concerning the race, visit Real Clear Politics.  You should also check out the rest of our site for more election coverage.

  1. McCarthy is one of the least effective members of Congress. This race shouldn't close! What are the voters thinking.

  2. Voters have been lazy in the many years she has been in office. We in Nassau are NO LONGER lazy.
    We've made it clear that Nassau District 4 is NOT a one party district. It may be close but I'd bet she loses based on local talk and signs.

  3. When my grandchildren ask me, "What did you do when our country was in trouble?" I will be able to respond that I helped elect Fran Becker to Congress.
