Shock: Fiorina Pulls Ahead of Boxer in California Senate Race

The nation's most accurate polling organization, Rasmussen, now reports that Republican Carly Fiorina has pulled ahead of incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer in California's Senatorial race.  This comes at a time in which many experts have predicted that the Democrats may lose control of the House of Representative and possibly even the Senate.

With the United States economy in a recession, voters have grown discontent with many of their Democrat representatives.  Even Massachusetts, long considered a liberal Democrat stronghold, elected Republican Scott Brown earlier this year.  Though Boxer was considered a safe bet to keep her job, Fiorina's 48-47 lead seriously casts doubt on Boxer's victory chances.
